The Christmas season is off to a cracking start!

I had a great time at Monday’s PDtP Christmas Special and I hope that everyone who was there did too.

Here’s how it all went down:

Thanks to all who came andwho  gave so generously to the good causes we were supporting.

That was the final PDtP of 2017 but there are still opportunities to do some more singing. On Tuesday December 19th we’ll be putting on a Counterpint in the Cafe Christmas Special in which we’ll be revisiting some of our PDtP seasonal motets alongside some traditional carols; booking details to follow in the next few days.

Speaking of carols, I’m trying to set up something for next Tuesday (December 12th) to see if we can sing some carols (plus the odd motet) in public to raise even more money for charity; details TBC but if we can make it happen then it’s likely to be around 5.30 – 7pm in a Central London location. If you think you might be able to join in, look out for an update form me very shortly.

Cheers

Kevin

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.

  1. Thanks, Kevin, for another amazing evening. Sadly, missed the brilliant ‘meat’ typo (favourite up till now has been ‘away in a manager’) must have been concentrating too hard on singing at least three correct notes in a row. Have a great Xmas.
