Thank goodness for hipster drinks companies

They do things like writing the word ‘gin’ twice on their painfully cool labels, making it much easier for a graphically challenged spod like me to cobble together a terrible Microsoft Word-based poster to publicise an event that’s taking place tomorrow and in any case is already largely booked up:

PDtP 40 posterI say largely booked up, but we’ve had a couple of late cancellations so if you wanted to pop along, we could probably squeeze in one or two more.

As it takes place so close to Easter, the setlist is chock-full of paschal hits, including these:

We’re also belatedly celebrating International Women’s Day with this stunner from Vittoria Aleotti:

But if you can’t make PDtP tomorrow, then at least some of the works will be appearing at Wednesday’s Counterpint in the Cafe; there’s still a bit of room there as well, though you’ll have to be quick!

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.
