Looks like we need to programme Palestrina more often

as we had – wait for it – 72 singers turn up to his PDtP Special last night. And in that number were 16 tenors. 16 tenors!!!

Here’s how it went down:

Another fab evening of boozing and busking through so thanks again to all who came.

If that wasn’t enough Palestrina for you, we have even more at tomorrow’s Counterpint in the Cafe, including a few motets that we didn’t cover last night.

There’s still room for all voices; if any of those 16 tenors (16 tenors!!!) from last night wanted to pop along, they’d be particularly welcome.

Cheers

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.
