It’s that time of year again…

Not only do we have four PDtP & Counterpint Xmas Specials coming up for you this month, we’ve just secured a spot to sing motets and Christmas carols at Borough Market on the evening of Wednesday December 12th.

We’ll be providing the entertainment for the Market’s Evening of Cheese event, which somehow feels appropriate given the type of bantz that you get an at an average PDtP session.

We did a session last year, which went down very well and helped us raise lots more money for good causes, so I’m sure we can repeat that success this year.

I’m also hoping that we might be able to squeeze in another carol-singing slot nearby beforehand so if you’re interested in joining us, I’m going to ask you to commit to being available in the London Bridge area between 5pm & 7pm, with the details being sorted out next week. You’ll also need to look at and learn the scores beforehand as there’ll be no rehearsal.

If you’d like to take part, please complete the form below by 5pm next Wednesday, December 7th – but please do not put your name down unless you’re absolutely sure you can make it.

***Update 03/12/18: our bass contingent is now full so please only respond if you want a soprano, alto or tenor space.***

Cheers

Kevin

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.
