Another bad news sandwich…

As you’ll have noticed, we’re almost halfway through November and yet there’sbeen no mention of a diary date for this month’s PDtP. I think you know what’s coming…

Before we get to that, though, let’s have a quick recap on the phenomenal funfest that was our 4th Birthday Celebration 2 weeks ago:

Thanks again to all who came along and made it such a great evening!

With the jollity out of the way, the inevitable bad news is that there is not going to be a November 2018 PDtP session.

I know many of you will be disappointed (I certainly am – it’s the second time this year we’ve had to cancel a session and it means our Parody Mass Special will now have to wait till next year) but I’ll be frank and tell you that it’s increasingly challenging to juggle this immensely rewarding but extremely time-consuming music project with the commitments of my day job.

I’ll soon be sharing some thoughts on what all of this means for the future of Polyphony Down the Pub (stock up on your hankies now), but for the moment, let’s get back to the good news, namely:

The Polyphony Down the Pub 2018 Christmas Special takes place on Monday December 3rd!

Booking details will follow later this week so for the moment simply put the date in your diaries as you won’t want to miss the Crimbotastic delights that we have lined up.

And towards the end of the week I’ll also be sharing news of a special Christmas Counterpint session, so put that November sadness behind you because it’s all about December!

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.
