Break out the party hats & stock up on streamers

‘cos it’s almost time for the Polyphony Down the Pub 5th Birthday Party!

On Wednesday October 30th from 7pm we’ll be note-bashing to within an inch of their existence the very best motets and madrigals from the past 5 years of our boozing ‘n’ crooning project – and in a happy coincidence, it will also be the 50th PDtP session, which makes it a double reason for celebration!

Booking goes live via this link at 5pm this Friday (October 25th) with the final spaces released at 9am the next day (Saturday 26th) so set your alarms now – but please do not book if you’re in any doubt as to whether or not you’ll make it, as we don’t want empty seats!

In the meantime, thanks to you all who have shared your memories/thoughts/intense dislikes; we’ll be publishing them later this week so there’s still time to drop us a line via this page.

Cheers

Kevin

I am a classical music enthusiast and a lover of choral music in particular. I run the Polyphony Down the Pub social/singing night, probably the most thrilling singing-Renaissance-motets-in-the-backroom-of-a-pub experience you could ever hope to have.

  1. Very sad that we won’t be able to join the party this year – I think we have made all the birthdays, from the original launching of the concept, kicking and screaming (well, certainly screaming) into the world. We will raise a candle to the celebration!
